What this helps you do
Each Upstorr store has its own products, orders, storefront, settings, and subscription. Create another store when you run a separate business or genuinely need separate store data.
Before you start
Choose the store name and decide which current plan fits it. Creating the empty store comes first; choosing and paying for a plan activates it. Your account needs permission to manage billing.
One owner account can own up to 10 stores. The same account can have access to up to 20 stores in total, counting both owned stores and stores where it is staff.
Steps
- Open the store chooser.
- Select Create store.
- Enter a Store name, such as “Mumbai Retail”. The name can contain up to 80 characters.
- Select Create store.
- In Choose a plan, compare the current plan features and limits.
- Adjust available add-ons if the chosen plan offers them.
- Select the plan and complete its checkout.
Understand plan limits and add-ons
Each plan card shows the features it includes and the maximum amount of each limited resource, such as staff or locations. A higher number is capacity, not something Upstorr creates automatically.
When a plan supports an add-on, its plus and minus buttons change that capacity before checkout:
- Included or base amount: what the plan already contains.
- Step: the allowed jump. If the step is 5, the selector moves by 5 rather than 1.
- Maximum: the highest capacity that add-on allows.
- Monthly amount: the plan price plus the selected extra steps.
The add-on choice belongs to the store and plan you select. Check the store name at the top of the plan chooser before paying.
What Upstorr prepares automatically
Creating a store prepares an INR store with an India primary market, an all-products catalog, a default storefront theme draft, and a default shipping profile. These are starting settings; review them before selling.
The store is not ready to publish merely because its name was created. It needs an active plan.
Free trial
When the account is eligible, the plan chooser can start a 30-day free trial. If the account has already redeemed its subscription free trial, a new store requires normal plan activation instead.
What happens next
After successful activation, select the store from the store chooser to enter its admin. Finish the store's products, GST, delivery, payment, and storefront setup before sharing it with customers.
Common problems
- Create store is grey: Enter a name and make sure your account can manage billing.
- You reached 10 owned stores: This account cannot own another store.
- You reached 20 total stores: Leave or remove access to another store before adding more access.
- The new store will not open: Choose and activate a plan first.
- You expected another free trial: The account may already have used its subscription free trial.
