What this helps you do

Create information pages such as About us, Contact, Size guide, or Shipping policy.

Before you start

Prepare the page title and customer-facing content. Decide what short URL should open it.

Steps

  1. Open Online Store → Pages.
  2. Select Add page.
  3. Enter the page Title and Content.
  4. Review the Page title, Search description, and URL handle.
  5. Select Save.
  6. Add the page to a menu if customers should reach it from your header or footer.

Format the page content

The content toolbar changes the part you have selected:

  • Paragraph, Heading 1–6, and Block quote: choose the meaning and size of a text block. Use one clear Heading 1 for the main subject, then smaller headings below it.
  • Bold, Italic, and Underline: add emphasis without changing the words.
  • Text color: changes the selected text colour. Keep enough contrast for easy reading.
  • Bullet list and Numbered list: use bullets for choices and numbers for steps.
  • Align left, centre, right, or justify: controls how the whole current block sits across the page.
  • Indent and Outdent: move a list item or supported text block deeper or back out.
  • Link: first select the words customers should click, then enter the destination URL.
  • Button: enter the button text, destination URL, background colour, and corner radius. Radius controls how rounded the corners are, from square at 0 to very rounded at 80.
  • Insert image: chooses an image from the store's media library and inserts it into the content.

Pasting a URL can create a link automatically. Always preview or open saved links and buttons yourself before sending customers to the page.

Page title

This is the search-engine title, not necessarily the large heading inside the page. If it is blank, the normal page title is used in the preview. Around 50–60 characters is recommended.

Search description

This summarises the page for search results. The editor recommends about 160 characters, while allowing up to 500. Search engines can still choose different text.

URL handle

This is the path after your store domain, such as /size-guide. Upstorr cleans spaces and unsupported characters into a lowercase path. Changing it changes the page's address, so old links may stop working.

Duplicate

Creates another page from the current page. Use it when several pages need similar structure, then change the copied title, content, and URL.

Find or delete pages

The Pages list shows the page title, URL handle, and last updated time. Search by page content details or sort by title, handle, or updated time. Select a row to edit it.

You can select several pages and delete them together. Links to deleted pages do not repair themselves, so also remove or replace those links in your storefront menus. If one page changed after the list loaded, Upstorr can leave it selected while deleting the unchanged pages.

What happens next

The page is saved in Online Store content. It may need to be added to the theme and a navigation menu before customers can easily find it.

Common problems

  • A page with this URL already exists: choose a different URL handle.
  • Save is unavailable: enter both a title and a valid URL handle.
  • The page exists but is hard to find: link it from a menu or another visible page.
