What this means

The Analytics dashboard is a quick health check for your store. Choose Last 7 days, Last 30 days, Last 90 days, or All time at the top. Every card and chart then uses that selected period unless its label clearly says it is a current inventory value.

Simple example

During 7 days, eligible orders contain ₹10,000 of product value. Discounts remove ₹500 and returned product value removes ₹1,000. Net sales are ₹8,500.

What you need to know

  • Gross sales: product subtotal before discounts and returns. It is not the final money you keep.
  • Discounts: value removed by discounts.
  • Returns: returned product value removed from sales.
  • Net sales: gross sales minus discounts and returned product value.
  • Orders: eligible revenue orders placed in the selected period.
  • Average order value: gross sales minus discounts, divided by eligible orders. It does not subtract returns in this calculation.
  • Repeat customer rate: the percentage of customers in the analytics result who bought again.
  • Return rate: unique orders with a return created in the period, divided by eligible orders in the period.
  • Delivery success: shipments marked Delivered, divided by shipments created in the period.
  • Gross profit: sales left after the product-cost calculation shown by Upstorr. It is not the same as bank balance or complete business profit.
  • Available stock: stock available to sell now, across inventory locations included by the dashboard.
  • Top stock risks: products that may need attention because their available stock and selling speed create risk.

Net sales over time is after discounts and returned product value. Orders over time counts orders placed in the range. Fulfillment status and Payment method mix show how those orders are moving through operations, while Top products compares product performance.

Analytics may show a negative net-sales day when returns recorded that day are larger than new sales that day. That is possible and does not mean the chart is broken.
