What this means

  • Ready: has a usable phone number, allows WhatsApp marketing, and is not a duplicate recipient.
  • No phone: no usable WhatsApp phone number is available.
  • Opted out: the customer has not given, or has withdrawn, WhatsApp marketing permission.
  • Duplicates: another selected customer resolves to the same phone number, so Upstorr does not send the broadcast twice to that number.

The audience choices are All WhatsApp eligible customers, Saved customer group, and Specific customers. A group or selection is only the starting list; the readiness checks decide the final recipients.

Simple example

A saved group contains 100 customers. Five have no usable phone, ten opted out, and two records share phone numbers already counted. The Ready count can be 83 even though the group contains 100 people.

What you need to know

  • Specific-customer search shows WhatsApp opted-in customers.
  • View audience explains the eligibility of individual rows before sending.
  • Permission and phone details can change, so the final broadcast may differ from an earlier preview.
  • Never add permission merely to increase the audience. Marketing permission must reflect the customer's real choice.
