Connect your existing WhatsApp Business App number so Upstorr can use it for approved templates, campaigns, and Inbox conversations.

Before you start

You need permission to manage marketing campaigns and access to the Facebook and WhatsApp Business accounts Meta asks for. Upstorr currently supports connecting an existing WhatsApp Business App number through Meta's signup flow.

Steps

  1. Open Marketing, then WhatsApp.
  2. Select Connect.
  3. Sign in through Meta's window.
  4. Choose the correct business and existing WhatsApp Business App number.
  5. Complete every Meta step and return to Upstorr.
  6. Wait for the success message.
  7. Check the displayed phone number, connection mode, verified name, and last refreshed date.
  8. Select Verify Meta connection whenever you need Upstorr to recheck the account and webhook.

What happens next

You can create and refresh templates, make campaigns, and open the Upstorr Inbox. Coexistence means the existing WhatsApp Business App number remains part of the connected setup.

Common problems

  • The Meta window was closed: select Connect and complete the flow again.
  • Upstorr says details were incomplete: save the required Facebook Login settings, then retry.
  • The account was disconnected in Meta: Verify Meta connection clears the unusable connection from Upstorr.
  • Disconnecting intentionally: Disconnect stops WhatsApp campaigns and hides the channel from live Inbox, but existing history stays saved.
