What this means

Campaign name

The private name staff use to find the campaign. It can contain up to 200 characters.

Template

The saved email design, subject, and message that recipients receive.

Reply-to email

An optional address for customer replies. It does not choose the audience.

Send later

The future date and time for a scheduled send. Saving the time does not schedule the campaign by itself; select Schedule afterward.

Audience

  • All customers who allow marketing emails: everyone currently eligible in this store.
  • Specific customers: only the selected opted-in people, up to 1,000 selections.
  • Saved customer group: customers in that group who currently allow marketing emails.

Campaign statuses

  • Draft: saved but not scheduled or fully sent.
  • Scheduled: waiting for its saved send time.
  • Sending: delivery is currently running.
  • Sent: every recorded recipient was sent successfully.
  • Partially sent: some recipients were sent and some failed.
  • Failed: no recipient was successfully sent in that attempt.
  • No recipients: nobody was eligible when the campaign tried to send.
  • Paused or Cancelled: sending will not continue in its earlier state.

Recipient statuses

The recipient table can show whether one email is pending, sent, opened, or failed, with its sent and opened times when available.

Simple example

A campaign estimates 100 recipients today and is scheduled for tomorrow. Five people withdraw marketing permission before the send. Upstorr checks again tomorrow, so the final recipient count may be 95 rather than the earlier estimate.

What you need to know

  • The Email campaigns page shows totals for all campaigns, Scheduled, Sent, Draft, and Opened. These cards are quick counts; open a campaign for its detailed recipient history.
  • Each list row shows the campaign name, creation date, status, audience, and scheduled time. Select the row to open it.
  • Search finds a campaign by its name. Sort can arrange the list by campaign name, status, or creation date.
  • Staff with campaign-management permission can select one or more campaigns and delete them together.
  • Deleting a campaign also deletes its delivery history. Use this only when you no longer need the recipient records.
  • A campaign that changed in another tab or is currently sending can be protected from deletion. Upstorr refreshes the list and leaves any campaigns it could not delete selected, so you can see what still remains.
  • Completed campaign details are kept as read-only history.
  • Cancel a schedule before selecting a different time.
  • Opened count depends on an open being detected; it is not a promise that every real read can be measured.
  • A newer-change warning means another tab or staff member changed the campaign. Load the latest version before continuing.
