What this helps you do
Give customers one or more shipping choices with clear prices and delivery times.
Before you start
Create the shipping profile, location group, and destination zone that should use the rate.
Steps
- Open Settings → Shipping.
- Open the correct profile, location group, and zone.
- Select Add rate.
- Enter the rate Name. Customers see this at checkout. It can contain up to 80 characters.
- Add optional Delivery details, such as
Tracking number provided. This can contain up to 120 characters. - Choose Flat, Order amount, or Weight.
- Enter the price and choose a required Transit time.
- Add more rows if this rate changes by order amount or weight.
- Optionally turn on Offer free shipping and enter the minimum order amount.
- Select Done.
What every field means
- Flat: one price for every matching order.
- Order amount: shows a row only when the subtotal of products sharing this profile and location group falls between its Minimum and Maximum.
- Weight: shows a row only when the total weight of products sharing this profile and location group, measured in kilograms, falls between its Minimum and Maximum.
- Minimum: the smallest qualifying amount or weight. Enter
0if the first band should start immediately. - Maximum: the largest qualifying amount or weight. Only the last row may use No limit.
- Price: what the customer pays. Enter
0for a free rate. - Transit time: the delivery estimate shown with the rate. Choose 1–2, 3–5, or 5–8 business days, None, or Custom.
- Custom transit time: one positive whole number of business days, or a minimum and maximum whole-number range. The maximum cannot be below the minimum.
- Offer free shipping: adds a separate rate named Free shipping when that shipping group's product subtotal reaches the positive minimum amount you enter.
Rows with the same rate name and condition type cannot overlap. Leave no accidental gaps unless you intentionally want no version of that rate to appear for those orders.
What happens next
At checkout, Upstorr checks the product profile, fulfilment locations, destination zone, active market, subtotal or weight conditions, and then shows every matching rate.
Common problems
- Done is unavailable: enter a name, valid non-negative values, and a transit-time choice.
- Only the last maximum can have no limit: fill the earlier Maximum fields.
- Ranges overlap: change the Minimum or Maximum so one order cannot match two rows with the same name.
- Free shipping is rejected: its minimum order amount must be a number greater than zero.
- A rate still does not appear: check the product's profile, the location group, the destination zone, the active market, and the order amount or weight.
