What this means
The Fulfillment section explains what must happen after a customer buys the product. Physical products show measurements and customs fields because they can be packed and delivered.
Weight
Enter the product’s delivery weight and choose kg, g, lb, or oz. When variants have different weights, enter the weight for each variant instead.
Width, Height, and Depth
These are the packed product dimensions used for delivery. Choose cm or in. Measure the parcel as it will be handed to the delivery partner, not only the loose product.
Country/Region of origin
Choose where the product was made. This information is used when customs details are needed for an international delivery from India.
HS Code
The Harmonized System code identifies the type of product for customs. This is not the same field as the GST HSN Code, even when the numbers happen to be related.
Simple example
You ship a boxed necklace that weighs 250 g. The packed box is 20 cm wide, 15 cm high, and 5 cm deep. Enter those packed measurements, choose its manufacturing country, and add the correct customs HS code when it can be delivered internationally.
What you need to know
- These fields appear only for Physical product.
- Services and digital products do not use shipping measurements.
- When automated local delivery is enabled, an active physical product needs an SKU and weight for every product or variant, plus width, height, and depth. Save it as Draft if those details are not ready.
- Accurate packed measurements help prevent delivery price and rider-allocation problems.
- Ask your shipping partner or customs adviser for the correct customs HS code when you are unsure.
