What this helps you do

Find the setup behind your bookable products, understand what each row means, and delete only records that are no longer needed.

There are two different lists:

  • Booking offers describe what a customer can book and the booking rules.
  • Booking resources describe the person, room, space, or equipment needed to provide it.

These are setup records. The Bookings page contains the actual customer bookings.

Before you start

You need booking view permission to see these lists. You need booking management permission to create, edit, or delete records.

Be careful with deletion. An old offer or resource can be part of important booking history even when you no longer use it today.

Steps

  1. Open Bookings.
  2. Open Booking offers or Booking resources.
  3. Use a tab or the search box to narrow the list.
  4. Read the row's rules, resources, capacity, and status.
  5. Select a row to open and edit it.
  6. To remove unused records, tick their boxes, choose Delete, and confirm.
  7. Read the result message. A protected or changed record can remain selected even when other selected records were deleted.

Read the Booking offers page

The summary cards mean:

  • Total offers: every booking offer in the store.
  • Visible products: offers whose connected product is active and published to the online store.
  • With resources: offers connected to at least one resource.
  • Classes: offers using the Class booking type.

The tabs show All offers, Appointments, Classes, and Resource rentals. A space-rental offer is included with resource rentals.

Each row contains:

  • Product: the product customers book.
  • Booking rules: the duration and the maximum quantity allowed in one booking. For example, 60 min · Up to 4 per booking.
  • Resources: the connected resources, or No resource required.
  • Status — Visible product: the connected product is active and allowed on the online store.
  • Status — Hidden product: the connected product is inactive or not published to the online store. The offer still exists, but customers cannot find that product normally on the website.
  • Updated: when this setup was last changed.

Search can match the product, resource, or booking type. Selecting a row opens the offer editor.

Read the Booking resources page

The summary cards mean:

  • Total resources: every booking resource in the store.
  • Available: active resources that can be used by booking setup.
  • Paused: resources currently switched off.
  • Rooms: resources whose type is Room.

The tabs show All resources, People, Rooms, and Spaces. Other resource types, such as equipment, remain available under All resources.

Each row contains:

  • Resource: its name.
  • Type: Person, Room, Space, Equipment, or its other saved resource type.
  • Capacity: how many bookings or units the resource can support at once.
  • Status — Available: the resource is active.
  • Status — Paused: the resource is not currently available for new booking setup.
  • Updated: when the resource was last changed.

Search can match a person, room, space, equipment item, or status. Selecting a row opens the resource editor.

Delete safely

You can select more than one offer or resource and delete them together. Upstorr processes a small number at a time and reports the result for each record.

  • An offer with booking history cannot be deleted. Keep it as part of the store's records.
  • A resource cannot be deleted while a booking offer or booking history still uses it. Remove it from current offers first, but historical use can still keep it protected.
  • A record changed after your list loaded is not deleted using the older information. Reload and check the latest version.
  • When some deletions succeed and others fail, successful records disappear. Protected or changed records remain selected so you can inspect them.

Pausing or hiding is often safer than deleting. For example, pause a room that is temporarily unavailable, or hide the connected product when you want to stop new customer bookings but keep history.

What happens next

Opening a row takes you to its editor. Creating an offer or resource opens a blank setup form. Successful deletion updates the visible rows and summary numbers without pretending protected records were removed.

Common problems

  • The Create or Delete action is disabled: the active staff member can view bookings but cannot manage them.
  • An offer says Hidden product: open the connected product and check both its active status and Online store publishing.
  • An offer says No resource required: this can be correct for an offer that does not need a named person, room, space, or item. Check the offer before changing it.
  • A resource says Paused: open it and check its active setting and availability before using it again.
  • An offer was not deleted: it has booking history or changed after the list loaded.
  • A resource was not deleted: an offer or booking history still depends on it.
  • Only some selected records disappeared: those deletions succeeded; the records left selected need individual attention.
